Data Sorting in Excel 2010 with example

Sorting is a common task that allows you to change or customize the order of your spreadsheet data.

You can sort a table to put names in alphabetical order or you can change data by Amount from smallest to largest or largest to smallest.

To sort the data follow the steps as below :

+ Select the column which you want to sort data.

+ Then choose data tab à

If you want to sort the column which you selected , choose Continue with the selection. If you want to sorting another columns , choose Expand selection

You can sort on :

+ values

+ Cell color

+ Font color

+ cell Icon
